My childcare career started 9 years ago, after completing my level 3 in childcare and education. During this time, I have cared for children up to 11 years old in a variety of settings. I then started at Oakland Hall 5 and a half years ago and over the years I have followed the path of becoming the Mighty Oaks room leader and Deputy Manager at Oakland Hall. I thrive in supporting the 3 and 4 year olds in all their areas of development and ensuring they are ready in their next step of going to school. I believe it is crucial in giving all children an equal opportunity and I have gained increased knowledge in supporting children in the SEN sector by carrying out further training in this area.
