My name is Carmen and I am the Nursery Manager. I have worked at Oakland at Oakland Hall for 9 years. Within this time, I started as a nursery apprentice completing my Level 2 and 3 in childcare, I then went on to be the Mighty Oaks room leader. I gained great experience during my 3 years being the room leader which then led me to becoming the manager of the nursery. I have learnt so much during the last 3 and enjoy my role as manager. I have watched the nursery flourish in numbers and reach full capacity which is a great achievement. Working in childcare is a rewarding job which is why it has always been a passion of mine.
